Šumná is a village and municipality (obec) in Znojmo District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 11.96 square kilometres (4.62 sq mi), and has a population of 601 (as at 28 August 2006).
Šumná lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) north-west of Znojmo, 62 km (39 mi) south-west of Brno, and 167 km (104 mi) south-east of Prague.
