The 1896 Princeton Tigers football team represented Princeton University in the 1896 college football season. The team finished with a 10–0–1 record and was retroactively named as the national champion by the Billingsley Report, Helms Athletic Foundation, and Houlgate System, and as a co-national champion by the National Championship Foundation and Parke H. Davis. They outscored their opponents 299 to 12.
