The 1950 San Francisco State Gators football team represented San Francisco State College during the 1950 college football season.
San Francisco State competed in the Far Western Conference (FWC). The Gators were led by first-year head coach Joe Verducci. They played home games at Cox Stadium in San Francisco, California. The team finished the season as champion of the FWC, with a regular season record of six wins and one loss (6–1, 4–0 FWC). For the season the team outscored its opponents 260–180.
At the end of the season, as champion of the FWC the Gators qualified for the 5th annual Pear Bowl in Medford, Oregon. San Francisco State lost the game 7–61 vs. Lewis & Clark. This brought the team's final record to six wins and two losses (6–2, 4–0 FWC).
