Cal State Los Angeles competed in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). The team was led by third-year coach Jim Williams and played their home games at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. They finished the season with a record of six wins and three losses (6–3, 2–2 CCAA).

No Cal State Los Angeles players were selected in the 1969 NFL Draft.
