The 1988 CONCACAF Men's Pre-Olympic Tournament was an assosciation football tournament that took place between January 1987 and May 1988 to determine which national teams would participate at the 1988 Summer Olympic Games.
United States and Guatemala qualified for the 1988 Summer Olympics. Mexico had originally qualified but were disqualified by FIFA for the Cachirules scandal.
The winners from Group A would qualify for the Second Round. The Group B, and Group C winners would qualify for the Final Round automatically.
