Rennae Stubbs and Todd Woodbridge won the title by defeating Lisa Raymond and Leander Paes 6–4, 5–7, [11–9] in the final. It was the 1st US Open and 2nd mixed doubles title for Stubbs, and the 3rd US Open and 6th mixed doubles title for Woodbridge, in their respective careers.
