The 2017–18 Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball team (variously "Alabama", "UA", "Bama" or "The Tide") represents the University of Alabama in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team is led by third year head coach Avery Johnson and will play its home games at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, as a member of the Southeastern Conference.

The 2016–17 team finished the season 19–15 overall and 10–8 in Southeastern Conference play to finish in a tie for fifth place in the SEC. They defeated Mississippi State and South Carolina to advance to the semifinals of the SEC Tournament where they lost to Kentucky. They received an invitation to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to Richmond.
