The 2017–18 WHL season is the 52nd season of the Western Hockey League (WHL). The regular season begins on September 22, 2017 and ends on March 18, 2018. The playoffs begin on March 23, 2018. The winning team, will get a berth in the 2018 Memorial Cup that will be held at the Brandt Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan from May 18–27, 2018.
