The 2017 National League Wild Card Game is a play-in game during Major League Baseball's 2017 postseason that will be played at Chase Field between the National League's two wild card teams, the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies. The game will be televised nationally by TBS. The game will take place on October 4.
This is Arizona's first playoff appearance as a Wild Card team, and their first postseason appearance since the 2011 National League Division Series. This is Colorado's fourth playoff appearance (all as a Wild Card team), and their first postseason appearance since the 2009 National League Division Series. This will be the second postseason match-up between the two clubs. The Rockies previously swept the Diamondbacks in the 2007 National League Championship Series.
Jon Gray will start for the Rockies, and Zack Greinke will start for the Diamondbacks.
