The 2018 Canadian Soccer League season is the 21st season of the Canadian Soccer League. The season will commence in May, 2018 and conclude in early October with the CSL Championship final. The season will feature a total of 17 teams with 9 clubs in the First division and 8 in the Second division.
Club membership increased in the First division from eight members to nine. Changes included the return of FC Ukraine United from the Second division with further new additions from two Mississauga franchises CSC Mississauga, Real Mississauga SC, and the return of Hamilton City SC from its one year hiatus. The York Region Shooters failed to feature an active squad for the season, while Milton SC returned to the Second division. Meanwhile the Second division remained the same with both Mississauga teams operating a reserve team.While Royal Toronto FC disbanded their reserve team, and Scarborough SC began operating a reserve team.
