54°40' Orphyte

54°40' Orphyte was an American game company that produced role-playing games and game supplements.

Don Bingle and Linda Bingle were both shareholders in Pacesetter Ltd in the 1980s, and when they founded the company 54°40' Orphyte in 1991, they purchased many of the product rights to Pacesetter's games and all of its backstock. The Bingles then brought Jay Tummelson on as a third owner of 54°40' Orphyte. 54°40' Orphyte put out two Timemaster adventures, Miss Him, Miss Him, Miss Him (1991) and Darkest Before the Dawn (1992) and supported the line with RPGA tournaments for a while. 54°40' Orphyte sold the rights to Pacesetter's game Star Ace to Philip J. Reed. Tummelson sold his shares in 54°40' Orphyte sometime after founding Rio Grande Games, leaving the Bingles once more in sole charge of their company.

Goblinoid Games purchased all rights to Timemaster from 54°40' Orphyte in 2011.
