Add the Blonde is the debut studio album by Polish singer Margaret. It was released on 26 August 2014, only in Poland.
The album was influenced by music genres such as retro-disco and ska. Margaret also cited Madonna's work as an influence for the album. While creating the album, Margaret worked with, among others, Swedish producers Joakim Buddee and Martin Eriksson and an English producer Ant Whiting, who previously worked with Pixie Lott, M.I.A., Ella Eyre and John Newman. The album consists of fourteen English-language tracks, including all songs from the All I Need EP and eight new songs. "Wasted", "Start a Fire" and "Heartbeat" were released as singles.
Add the Blonde reached number eight on the Polish Albums Chart, and was certified platinum in Poland by the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (ZPAV).
In 2016, the album was re-released. The reissue includes the singles "Cool Me Down" (plus its three remixes) and "Elephant", as well as a song titled "Smak radości" recorded by Margaret in 2015 for Coca-Cola commercial. The reissue was officially released on 2 December 2016, however it was available for purchase since 19 September exclusively in Biedronka markets.
