Ahmed Abdel-Qader Ahmed Abu Ismail commonly known as Ahmed Abdel-Qader (Arabic: أحمد عبد القادر أحمد أبو إسماعيل; born 10 November 1968) is a Jordanian football manager and a former footballer who is the current assistant manager of Jordan national football team.
During his playing career he enjoyed a successful stay with his hometown club Sahab SC. He also played for the Jordan national football team from 1991-1995. He has made appearances in the 1992 Arab Nations Cup and has represented the national team in 1994 FIFA World Cup qualification.
He had a successful managerial career in Jordan with Sahab SC, That Ras Club, Jordan national under-20 football team and Shabab Al-Ordon.
Ahmed first began his managerial career as the manager of his parent club Sahab SC in 1999 and worked for the Sahab-based club for four years.
In 2005, he was appointed as the assistant manager of Jordan national under-20 football team. He worked under Danish manager Jan Poulsen from 2005 to 2007. He and his coaching staff was known for helping Jordan national under-20 football team qualify for the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada after securing a fourth place in the 2006 AFC Youth Championship in India. After Jordan's elimination from the group stage in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, he was appointed as the manager of the Jordan national under-20 football.
