Alexandra Mary L. Danson, MBE (born 21 May 1985) is an English field hockey forward.
Danson has been a member of the England and Great Britain women's field hockey team since making her England debut in October 2001 against Germany.
Danson won a gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games and a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympic Games.
Danson has played club hockey for Reading Hockey Club, Klein Zwitserland, Trojans and Alton. She attended the independent Yateley Manor Prep School and then Roman Catholic Farnborough Hill School.
Danson was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2017 New Year Honours for services to hockey.
