Alkadienes are acyclic branched or unbranched hydrocarbons having two carbon–carbon double bonds. Alkadienes are also known as Alkenes A cumulated alkadiene (cumulene) has two double bonds attached to the same carbon atom: the simplest example is 1,2-propadiene.
