Alt-lite

"Alt-lite" is a neologism that was created by hardline members of the alt-right to describe those promoting a diluted version of the ideology, and to distance themselves from them. The Anti-Defamation League defined alt-lite as a group of right-wing activists who dislike feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslim extremist and left-wing politics, but refuse to support the alt-right's white nationalism.

Alt-righters have described Breitbart News as alt-lite.

Wired described the alt-light as "the alt-right's relatively mild-mannered sibling" in reference to Paul Joseph Watson's use of 4chan trolling culture to antagonize mainstream media.
