Highway 261 is a north–south highway in Arkansas running from AR 1 in Caldwell south to AR 259.
The route begins in Caldwell at AR 1 and travels southwest past Slonikers Mill to Palestine. At Palestine, AR 261 crosses I-40/US 63 and US 70. The route continues south until it meets AR 121, when it heads west to AR 259, where it terminates.
