The 17th season of the television series, Arthur aired in Australia between April 23 and May 2, 2013. It premiered on PBS on November 11, 2013. This season is the second produced by 9 Story Media Group. This is the last season in which Drew Adkins and Jake Beale voice Arthur and D.W. In the next season, Beale is replaced by Andrew Dayton as D.W. and Adkins is replaced by William Healy as Arthur.
Show Off: It's the Elwood City Dog Show and Killer is facing off against Sebastian Winkleplotz, the snobby, championship-winning poodle. Can Pal, Killer's coach, transform her into a sophisticated dog and beat the bully?
Dog's Best Friend: Arthur agrees to watch his neighbor's dog Amigo while Alberto is away. However, when Arthur is looking after Amigo, Pal feels he is losing his rank as top dog of the house.
Opposites Distract: Arthur and Buster have always been best friends. But when a leaky roof forces Arthur to study in Buster's room, they discover they make better friends then roommates.
All Thumbs: When Arthur catches Buster sucking his thumb, Buster worries that Arthur will tell the entire school. Can Arthur stay mum? Or is this secret just too juicy not to share?
Speak Up, Francine!: The local creek is polluted! Francine is determined to get the word out at the annual Earth Day rally, but she can't seem to speak up, so Ladonna attempts to help.
Waiting for Snow: Ladonna can't wait to experience her first blizzard. Skiing, sledding, snow days! If only the weather would cooperate. Arthur and Buster attempt to help her. Meanwhile, D.W teaches Bud how to make snowballs.
Pets and Pests: When a mouse is discovered in the Read house, Arthur uses Nemo to try get rid of it, making Pal worried. Then, Ladonna shows up and shows Arthur, D.W., and Bud that mice can be friends as well as foes.
The Director's Cut: After meeting his hero, Hollywood director Tufton Sinclair, George is inspired to make a movie of his own, but he doesn't seem to be getting his own way in it.
Caught in the Crosswires: Muffy is thrilled when mega producer J3 chooses her family for his latest reality TV project. After all, she was born to be star! But when Muffy's asked to amp up the drama between her and Bailey, she worries that she's being portrayed as a spoiled brat. Is it possible reality TV isn't as realistic as she thought?
