Aslam Farrukhi, PP, (Urdu: اسلم فرخی‎) (October 23, 1923 – 15 June 2016) was an Urdu author, critic, poet, linguist, scholar and broadcaster from Pakistan. He is also known for children's writings. He remained associated as Professor and Chairman with the Department of Urdu, University of Karachi, for many years.

Farrukhi was born on 23 October 1923 into a literary family of Lucknow, India. Most of his family members were poets and writers. After the independence of Pakistan in 1947, he with his family migrated to Karachi, Pakistan.

Farrukhi taught at Sindh Muslim College and at Karachi University, where he also served as registrar. His son is also scholar Dr. Asif Farrukhi. He was associated as Professor and Chairman with the Department of Urdu, University of Karachi, for many years, and also with Radio Pakistan for more than six years. He was among the country's few writers of children's literature. He has contributed to several literary magazines as an editor.

Dr Aslam Farrukhi died on 15 June 2016 in Gulshan e Iqbal, Karachi. He was buried in Karachi University Graveyard on 16 June 2016 after Zohar Prayer.
