Austin Diamond (10 July 1874 – 5 August 1966) was a cricketer who played for New South Wales in first-class cricket. He played in 29 Sheffield Shield matches for NSW between the 1899-1900 and 1911-1912 seasons. Also, Diamond was elected Captain of the unofficial "Australian" 1913 tour games that were played en route in Fiji, and mainly in cities across Canada and the USA, and which tour included five first-class matches, as well as many more social matches. His military service in the AIF in World War I, which included his active service, as well as his being a "sporting" recruiter, stalled his cricketing career. Diamond played his one last post-war first-class match during the 1918-1919 season.
