Baki District (Arabic: منطقة باكي‎‎, Somali: Degmada Baki) is a district of the Awdal region in northwestern Somalia. Local control of the district is disputed between Awdalland, a proposed autonomous state, and Somaliland. Baki is inhabited by the members of the Gadabursi tribe, specifically the Reer Nuur branch of the Makahiil Sub-clan of the Gadabursi, and is considered a traditional region of the Gadabursi clan
