Bareilly College, Bareilly (BCB) is a prime college of M. J. P. Rohilkhand University located in Bareilly in the Indian state of Utter Pradesh. It was established in the British period in the year 1837. It started with 57 students and Mr. Rogers was its Headmaster. Later in 1850 it was raised to the status of Government College.
Bareilly College has now operated for one hundred seventy years of useful services to the cause of the education in the region of .A new building was added to it in 1905 which was laid by sir james john digges la touche the then lieutenant governor of northern province,he named that building as New bareilly college (which is now used as auditorium and as classes).Rohilkhand.
