Barnard is a city in Lincoln County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 70.
Barnard was first settled in 1888, and it was incorporated as a city in 1904. Barnard was named for J.F. Barnard, a railroad employee.
Barnard is located at 39°11′21″N 98°2′35″W / 39.18917°N 98.04306°W (39.189213, -98.043078). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.22 square miles (0.57 km2), all of it land.
