Belgium Pier

The Belgium Pier in Blankenberge was built in in 1933 after an Art Deco design by architect Jules Soete. The concrete structure stretches 350 meter out in the North Sea. The Belgium Pier replaced an other one that was the first pier at the Atlantic and North Sea costs of the European continent. It only got company but the Scheveningen Pier in the Netherlands.
