Breadalbane Academy

Breadalbane Academy is an all-through school, catering for pupils from age 2 to 18, with a very wide catchment, from the stunning wilderness of Rannoch moor in the east to the bustling towns of Dunkeld and Pitlochry in the west. The school also has a Gaelic Medium provision in the primary which will extend into the secondary in session 2018/19. Located in the scenic town of Aberfeldy and towered over by the Highland Perthshire mountains, the school has one of the most spectacular school settings in the UK. Its location makes it an ideal gateway to the Scottish Highlands, despite being just over 30 minutes commute from the City of Perth.

Breadalbane Academy consistently performs strongly in SQA examinations and this is reflected in the fact that approximately 50% of pupils progress on to Higher Education.

The school’s vision statement ‘belonging, believing, aspiring, achieving’ reflects the schools’ commitment to creating an inclusive environment in which all children are encouraged to develop the self-belief they need to flourish personally and academically.

The Academy has a long and distinguished history dating back to the 19th Century, which is complemented by current high levels of attainment
