Bruce Townshend

Charles Bruce Townshend, known as Bruce Townshend (21 November 1931 – 25 April 1987) was a New Zealand politician of the National Party.

Townshend was born in Paeroa in 1931, and he received his education at Paeroa College.

He represented the Kaimai electorate in Parliament from 1978 to 25 April 1987, when he died in office.Robert Anderson replaced him later that year at the 1987 election.
