Cavriago is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 70 kilometres (43 miles) northwest of Bologna and about 8 km (5 mi) west of Reggio Emilia. As of 31 December 2016, it had a population of 9,892 and an area of 17.0 square kilometres (6.6 sq mi).
The municipality of Cavriago contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Case Nuove, Corte Tegge, and Quercioli.
Cavriago borders the following municipalities: Bibbiano, Reggio Emilia.
Cavriago is one of the very few places in Western Europe where a monument to Vladimir Lenin stands.
