Colorina is a Peruvian telenovela produced by Michelle Alexander for América Televisión, based on the 1980 Mexican drama of the same name produced by Valentín Pimstein for Televisa. It stars and David Villanueva as the titular character.
Colorina works in a nightclub as a prostitute with her great friend Rita. Both arrive at the mansion of Luis Carlos in search of amusement accompanied by Ivan, a vividor who is brother-in-law of Luis Carlos. Colorina and Luis Carlos fall in love, but their relation is not well seen by the cold and calculating mother of Luis Carlos. Diana, the wife of Luis Carlos, can not have children, reason why the mother of Luis Carlos pays to Colorina so that it becomes pregnant of its son and it surrenders to him to the child once it is born. Colorina accepts, but when she gives birth she repents and leaves the city. At the same time, a neighbor of Colorina, leaves her husband and her two children to become an actress. With the consent of her husband, Colorina decides to take the two children of her neighbors to confuse the mother of Luis Carlos.
