Dagestan, you holy fatherland (Russian: Дагестан, ты отчизна святая!, Dagestan, ty otčizna svjataja!, !داغستان، طئ وطچِىضنا صڤِاطايا) was the anthem of the Republic of Dagestan, a federal subject of Russia. It was composed and written by Shirvani Chalayev. It was adopted in 2003 and relinquished in 2016. A new anthem was adopted on February 25, 2016.
