Dixi is an interactive web programme for children age 7–14 that premiered on CBBC Online in 2014. Dixi has run for 4 series, and 100 episodes.
The series was produced by Kindle Entertainment. It won the BAFTA award for original interactive show in 2014. Series 4 has been confirmed and will be aired in 2017. With new cast members replacing the original cast. Some of the original cast from Series 1-3 will return. It has been confirmed, Claudia Jessie and April Hughes will return and reprise their roles as Shari and Mimi.
In late 2016, a prequel to the fourth series was launched over the CBBC website, called Dixi 4 Extra.
Following the original releases of DIXI on the CBBC website, multiple 3 minute episodes were connected together to create 10-15 minute TV episodes aired on the CBBC Channel. List Of Dixi Episodes
