Yung Joc's debut was released to lukewarm reviews. Though XXL claims that despite the corniness, Yung Joc has potential.

"Dope Boy Magic" is the promotional single of this album. A portion of its video was connected to the "I Know You See It" video. The title of the song refers to Yung Joc being able to make sizable amounts crack cocaine with small amounts of cocaine, and when asked how, he says "Dope Boy Magic."
