Douala International Airport (French: Aéroport international de Douala) (IATA: DLA, ICAO: FKKD) is an international airport located 10 kilometres (5 nmi; 6 mi) from Douala, the largest city in Cameroon and the capital of Cameroon's Littoral Region. It is the country's busiest airport.
Douala Airport has a single runway, 12/30, with a length of 2,853 m (9,359 ft). Between 1 and 21 March 2016, the runway will be closed for upgrade works; all airlines will switch to Yaoundé Airport during this period.
: Some of these flights to Douala from North Africa and Europe make a stop in Yaoundé. However, the airlines in question do not have traffic rights to transport passengers solely between Douala and Yaoundé.
