Double First Class University Plan

Double First Class University Plan or Double Top University Plan (Chinese: 双一流; pinyin: shuāngyīliú) is a plan conceived from 2015 and implemented in China since 2017 to create world class universities and disciplines by the end of 2050. The full list of the sponsored universities and disciplines was published in September 2017, which includes 42 first class universities (36 Type A schools and 6 Type B schools) and 465 first class disciplines (spread among 140 schools including the first class universities). This plan replaces the Project 985 and Project 211.

The list is in the order given in the announcement of the Chinese Ministry of Education (by "school code"). The list includes Class A, Class B, and the universities that contain First Class disciplines.
