Duas Barras (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈduɐz ˈbaʁɐs], locally [ˈduə̯ʑ ˈbaxəɕ]) is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro. Its population was 10,622 (2005) and its area is 375,238 km². This little town has a historic center with colorful painted homes around its main square.
