Edmond Jordan is an American attorney and Democratic member of the Louisiana House of Representatives. He has represented District 29 since winning a special election in May 2016. He succeeded Ronnie Edwards, who died in office. Jordan has acted as an attorney and spokesman for the family of Alton Sterling, a black man who was shot several times at close range while held down on the ground by two white police officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
