Egidio Miragoli has since September 2017 been the bishop of Mondovì.
Egidio Miragoli was born in Gradella, a frazione of Pandino, in 1955, and was ordained as a priest in 1979 by bishop Paolo Magnani. He continued his theological studies at Lodi seminary and at Pontifical Gregorian University, and majored in canon law.
Since 1994 he has been a parson at Frances Xavier Cabrini parish in Lodi, and since 2007 he has been a judge at the ecclesiastical regional tribunal of Lombardy.
On 29 September 2017, Pope Francis appointed him as the new Bishop of Mondovì. He was consecrated on 11 November 2013 by the bishop of Lodi Maurizio Malvestiti.
