The next Elections to the European Parliament are expected to be held in 2019. A total of 751 Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) currently represent some 500 million Europeans from 28 member states; however, this situation is likely to change before 2019 due to the outcome of the United Kingdom's referendum regarding EU membership in June 2016.
