Faceit is an independent platform for professional competitions within online multiplayer video games, which was founded in London in 2011. Games they have participated in include Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, and Dota 2.
In April 2016, Faceit announced the launch of their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament, known as the Esports Championship Series (ECS). In April 2017, the company partnered with the video sharing platform YouTube for the series.
