Fidelio Films is an originally in New York founded independent film production company by filmmakers David Figueroa, Mark Raso, Mauro Mueller and Mauricio Leiva Cock in 2010. The company has set up offices in Los Angeles, Mexico City, Bogota, and Zurich. The company has produced a number of acclaimed short films, winning twice in a row in the Student Academy Awards with Under in 2012 and A World for Raúl in 2013. The first feature film Copenhagen featuring Gethin Anthony, Bodil Awards winner Frederikke Dahl Hansen, Sebastian Armesto, Mille Dinesen, Baard Owe, and Tamzin Merchant was released in 2014. Mark Raso shot Kodachrome with Ed Harris, Jason Sudeikis, and Elizabeth Olsen.
Fidelio Films was founded in 2010 by filmmakers David Figueroa, Mark Raso, Mauro Mueller and Mauricio Leiva Cock. All four of them met while studying at the MFA program in directing and screenwriting at Columbia University. The company started out as a branding company but soon the creative collective formed a production company. In 2013, the four shot the first feature film Copenhagen in Denmark. The company co-produced the Venice Days closing film Candelaria by director Jhonny Hendrix.
Fidelio films have received multiple awards and nominations from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association,CINE, and the Directors Guild of America.
