"Forgetting All About You" is a song recorded by American singer and songwriter Phoebe Ryan, featuring guest vocals from American R&B singer blackbear. It was released on August 4, 2017 as the lead single from her forthcoming second extended play, James (2017). Both artists wrote the track along with Joseph Kirkland, Jason Dean, and Leroy Clampitt, the latter of which handled the single's production. The artwork for the single was created by Phoebe herself. Ryan performed the song at the Billboard Hot 100 Festival.
"Forgetting All About You" continues Ryan's transition from an indie pop musical direction to a more mainstream pop musical style. It is an R&B and electropop song with a length of three minutes and nineteen seconds. The single lyrically talks about getting over a breakup. Ryan said about the song: “Last year, I spent a month or two in a wild daze, convinced I didn’t need anyone or anything to tie me down. I was fearless, reckless, and super high on life. Even when I was home alone and watching cartoons naked, it was a freakin party.”
