François Rebsamen (born 25 June 1951, Dijon) is a French politician who was the Minister of Social Affairs from 2014 to 2015. He is a member of the Socialist Party.
He served as a member of the Senate of France, representing the Côte-d'Or department from 2008 to 2014. He is mayor of Dijon, main city of Burgundy, from 2001 to 2014 and since August 2015.
Rebsamen was appointed Minister of Social Affairs on 2 April 2014 in the Valls government under President François Hollande. Rebsamen announced his resignation on 19 August 2015 (effective 2 September).
