Francisco de Salas (?-?) was a Spanish nobleman. He served as Captain, Mayor, Councillor and Lieutenant Governor and Justice major in the Ciudad de Trinidad y Puerto de Buenos Aires.
Francisco de Salas Videla Reynoso was born in Esquivias, Toledo (Spain), the son of Juan de Salas and Susana de Barahona, belonging to a noble Spanish family. He was married in Buenos Aires to Leonor Correa de Santana, daughter of Pedro Correa and Antonia Moreno (Andalusian, sister of Anton Higueras de Santana), they were the first families arrived in the Río de la Plata with in the expedition of Juan Ortiz de Zárate.
In 1588 Francisco de Salas was administrative officer of Buenos Aires. In 1602 he was appointed Lieutenant Governor and Justice major. And in 1606 was Council of the City.
Francisco Salas Reynoso, had occupied important positions of government during the Viceroyalty of Peru, serving as Alcalde of Buenos Aires, and , an honorific position in which the king was honored by the alférez, carrying in his name the Royal Standard during ceremonies and holidays.
