Fredericton Fire Department is the Fire Department for the City of Fredericton, New Brunswick. It has been serving Fredericton since 1817, and has 118 employees.

The City of Fredericton currently sets a 6min road response standard 90% of the time which it is unable to fulfil with it's 4 fire Station Response model. Comparable New-Brunswick Cities such as Moncton and Saint John offer Superior response times and greater staffing levels than the Provincial Capital. Multiple Fire Service studies have recommended 3 Stations in the Southside of the City and 3 Stations on the Cities Northside to meet the geographical and response needs of the Community.
Structure
The Department was historically staffed with a 5 Chief Model but now has a regular complete of Fire chief, an Assistant Deputy Chief of Operations, an Assistant Deputy Chief of Fire Prevention Improvement & Innovation, a civilian Director in place of a Deputy Fire Chief, 2 Administrative Employees, Four Fire Prevention/Life Safety Officers, 2 Training Officers and 96 Fire Suppression and Operation Fire Fighters operating on a 4 platoon 24/7/365 service delivery model.
