Güldal Akşit

Güldal Akşit (pronounced [ɟyɫdaɫ ˈakʃit]; born January 23, 1960 in Malatya, Turkey) is a Turkish politician and the President of the Parliamentary Commission on Equal Opportunities for Men and Women. She was the Minister of Culture and Tourism in the cabinet of Abdullah Gül and the first cabinet of Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

She graduated from Hacettepe University and Istanbul University.
