Gavrilov-Yam (Russian: Гаври́лов-Ям) is a town and the administrative center of Gavrilov-Yamsky District in Yaroslavl Oblast, Russia, located on the Kotorosl River. Population: 17,791 (2010 Census);19,105 (2002 Census);21,353 (1989 Census).
It was founded in 1545. Town status was granted to it in 1938.
