George Melnyk is a Canadian historian, academic, and writer. As of 2013^[update] Melnyk is the associate Professor of Canadian Studies and Film Studies at the University of Calgary. He holds a BA (Hons) History from the University of Manitoba, an MA History from the University of Chicago and an MA Philosophy from the University of Toronto.
