Giồng Trôm is a rural district of Bến Tre Province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 186,719. The district covers an area of 311 km². The district capital lies at Giồng Trôm. This district is the homecountry of Phan Văn Trị. The commune Mỹ Thạnh has the famous speciality: Mỹ Lồng rice paper.
