Giorgio Vanni (born August 19, 1963) is an Italian singer and song-writer. Vanni is well known for performing theme songs of Italian dubs of Japanese and American animated TV series. The dubbed Italian songs he sings usually are not covers of the Japanese songs but tend to be newly written songs for the Italian dub of the anime. Giorgio Vanni has also composed and produced many songs for Cristina D'Avena such as Magica Sabrina, Dr. Slump & Arale (sung in duet), Ma che magie Doremì and Hamtaro.

Vanni was born at Milan. He started his career in 1979, along with Paolo Costa and Claudio D'Onofrio, with the pop-rock band Tomato. His first theme song for an Italian dub of a cartoon was for Superman. Since then he has sung numerous Italian theme songs for anime such as Dragon Ball, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Naruto, One Piece, Gundam Wing, I Cavalieri Dello Zodiaco (Saint Seiya), Detective Conan, Keroro, Lupin III, Diabolik and Gormiti: Nature Unleashed.

Vanni formed the pop-rock band Tomato in 1979 along with Paolo Costa and Claudio D'Onofrio. They were first noticed by Roberto Colombo in 1982.

In 1983 they produced the record The island of the sun under the pseudonym "Ludy". In 1984 they collaborated along with Miguel Bosè for the album Bandido. They released their first single Tam Tam in 1985. In 1987 Vanni composed the song Lay down on me for Miguel Bosè's album XXX. In 1991 they released their first album Tomato, produced by Mauro Paoluzzi and Angelo Carrara. In 1992, they participated in the Sanremo Music Festival with the song Sai cosa sento per te.
