Gladbrook is a city in Tama County, Iowa, United States. The population was 945 at the 2010 census.
A post office called Gladbrook has been in operation since 1880. The name Gladbrook was coined by a railroad official.
On March 21, 1910, the Green Mountain train wreck occurred between Gladbrook and Green Mountain in which a derailment killed more than fifty people riding on the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific line.
