Grand River is a city in Decatur County, Iowa, United States. The population was 236 at the 2010 census.
Grand River had its start in the year 1881 by the building of the Humeston and Shenandoah Railroad through that territory.
Grand River is located at 40°49′8″N 93°57′45″W / 40.81889°N 93.96250°W (40.818940, -93.962587) along the Thompson River, although its namesake, the Grand River, flows just a few miles to the east of the city.
